“All of our business is about customization,” said Ian McDonald, Chief Investment Officer of Arden Asset Management in a video interview with Susan Barreto, editor of InvestHedge. “Institutions, investors generally are looking for solutions and we try to help solve their problems by creating portfolios of hedge fund strategies and we’re fairly agnostic as to the structure the vehicle ends up taking.”
McDonald spoke to Barreto at the Palais de la Bourse in Paris during the Hedge Fund Intelligence European Summit on April 28-29, 2015, where he sat on a panel about the growth of liquid alternatives along with Rick Frisbie of Franklin Templeton Investments and Fred Ingham of Neuberger Berman.
